Cloud Expo and The End of Tech Recession At SYS-CON Media we see our inventories are filling up to 100% capacity for the months of November, December, and January, and we are seeing better-than-normal RFP activity for the first quarter of 2010. In that moment of professional heartbreak, you may have considered changing those alerts to make them more eye-catching, more interesting and more ... (more)

I have increased it from the 'mere' 150 I identified back in January of this year, to 250, testimony – as if any were needed! – to the fierce and continuing growth of the "Elastic IT" paradigm throughout the world of enterprise computing. Editorial note: The words in quotation marks used to describe ... (more)

Cloud-Based Backup | @CloudExpo #BigData #DataCenter #Storage

Easing the Path to Cloud-Based Backup Many organizations today require 24x7 access to the data they need to run their operations. According to a recent survey, when IT teams modernize their data centers, high-speed recovery and data loss avoidance are the two most sought-after capabilities. Eliminating any "availability gap" is the aim; however, cost and lack of skills are often a roadblock. The cloud has emerged as an attractive option for backup, allowing organizations to achieve optimal protection for their data in an affordable, scalable and efficient way. Market research sho...
